Production and sale of apple trees

Vivai Fratelli Dainese produces and sells many varieties of apple trees: at our nursery in Saonara (close to Padua and Venice), you will find a vast range of fruit plants and expert and competent staff ready to give you all the advice you need. Fruits have a nice bright red color covering most of all the skin, it gives excellent results for its size and flavor. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Starking.

Ripens starting August 20th.

One of the most promising apple variety, it is certainly the most interesting for it ripens very early. The medium-large sized fruit is of a spectacular beauty, it has an intense yellow color with splashes of pink in the areas exposed to the sun. Pollinator: Starking and Imperatore.

Ripens the last 20 days of August.

It’s a cross between “Golden Delicious” and “Jonathan”. Well developed plant, gives large production of large rounded fruits, flatted at the poles . Skin is yellow with extended coloration. Long preservation. Pollinator: Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Red Delicious.

Ripens after the first 10 days of September.

Precious variety selected a century ago (1890), it’s available in the markets all year around given its excellent preservation. The tree is of a medium size, with a wide crown, produces large quantities and very fast, to the point that some seasons require appropriate pruning. Pollinator: Starking and Hi Early.

Ripens early September.

Very old variety, well known all over the world, originated in “VAL DI NON”. Medium sized tree very productive, gives very good sized fruits with a characteristic aroma (very aromatic fruit). Pollinator: Super Starking and Hi Early.

Ripens end of September.

It has been widely cultivated. From this variety have originated many spontaneous mutations, also of a spur (dwarf) type, that most of the time don’t reach the full flavor of the original. Fruits have a very nice red color that covers almost 100% of the skin, and a red colored footstalk. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Ozark Golden.

Ripens after the first 10 days of September.

Very resistant and productive plant. Fruits are large and of a red color, firm and flavorful pulp. An all around great fruit. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Ozark Golden.

Ripens in mid-September.

It’s one of the best red Delicious apples, for the good production and the great look of the fruits that turn very early in a great bright red cherry color. Excellent sized and flavored fruits. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Ozark Golden.

Ripens in mid-September.

German apple, among farmers it’s nicknamed “the apple machine”, because of its large production. Fruits have a good size, a great look and are delicious. Pollinator: Golden K.B.

Ripens early October.

Very interesting variety of apple for the size of the plant and the harvesting period. Fruits have a large size and optimal organoleptic properties. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and di Hi Early.

Ripens after the first 10 days of September.

Medium developed tree. Large fruit, conic shaped and of a red color, tender pulp, juicy, very aromatic. Pollinator: Super Starking and Stayman Red.

Ripens in October.

Widely used variety for its look. It’s one of the best and sought after apples for daily consumption. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Jonathan.

Ripens end of October.

This variety is an old mutation of the “Stayman Winesap”, and although with some flows ( it tends to crack during unfavorable seasons), it’s the best variety for Stayman lovers to plant. Fruits are much more colorful than the S. Winesap ones, but are exactly the same otherwise. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Jonathan.

Ripens early October.

Very large fruits. Fine variety, very appreciated for everyday consumption. It’s preferred also to be used in desserts. Tender pulp, very fragrant and juicy. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Super Starking.

Ripens mid-September.

This variety, for more than a half century, has been the best one for diabetics. In fact, the Granny Smith, it’s found in all low calorie diets as despite the good sweet and sour taste it contains a very low quantity of sugar. The fruit has a nice light-green color. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Super Starking.

Ripens end of Autumn.

Variety of Japanese origin, medium-large sized fruit, with a yellow and orange striped color splashed in red, Dense pulp, delicate and crunchy, slightly aromatic, with a sweet and pleasant flavor.

Ripens between the end of September and early October.

Large tree, fruit has modest size, with a rounded flat shape, with a dappled red color. Pulp is firm, white, sugary, slightly acidic, not very juicy. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Hi Early.

Ripens end of October.

Old variety, pleasant taste. Preserves very well.

Ripens after the first 10 days of September.

Old and very fragrant variety. Preserves until late Spring.

Ripens in September.

Medium sized fruits, red in color and with a crunchy pulp. Pollinator: Golden K.B. and Starking.

Ripens in mid-August.
